SEA MILLS PARK U18 3 CHIPPING SODBURY U18 4 Another end to end high scoring match for Sea Mills ended in defeat at the hands of a very strong Chipping Sodbury side. Sea Mills stormed into an early 2 goal lead inside the first 10 minutes, with Lucas Robson scoring both goals, the second a marvellous strike from the edge of the box. Chipping Sodbury gradually got themselves into the game and became dominant for the rest of the first half, the pressure had been building with Sea Mills keeper Alex Randall once again pulling off some vital saves, however Chipping Sodbury pulled a goal back from a close-range finish. Just before the half time whistle blew Sodbury found the equaliser and deservedly went in level at 2-2. The second half continued with Sodbury applying most of the pressure and Sea Mills trying to counter attack on the break, Sodbury scored their third goal and looked most likely to go on and win the game when Sea Mills equalised against the run of play with Joe McMurchie finishing from close range after good work down the left from the ever-dangerous Levi Hope. Sodbury found the winner and ended the game 4.3 victors, their goals were scored by Mitchell Gooding, Lewis Wynn and 2 from Ross Womack. Report - Tim Seymour |
