CHIPPING SODBURY TOWN U18 1 FRYS CLUB U18 7 Chipping Sodbury took an early lead when Kane Head rose highest at a corner to head in from close range. This woke Frys up and they soon began to create chances of their own. Midfielder Josh Keen was controlling the game for Frys and it was his through ball that was latched onto by striker Joe Banks who calmly lifted it over the keeper to make it 1-1. Soon after Frys took the lead with great work from Joe Smart down the right hand side and a low cross to Arthur Parsons who couldn't miss from two yards out. Joe Banks then scored his second goal of the half to make it three for Frys following a long Ben Parsons long throw being nodded into his path and he made no mistake from 6 yards out. Half time score 1-3 Chipping Sodbury changed formation at half time drafting an extra player into midfield and started the second half more brightly, but their attacking moves were mainly restricted to long distance attempts. Frys made it 4-1 on the hour with Joe Banks finishing smartly to get his hat-trick and it was then quickly 5-1 when midfielder Arthur Parsons grabbed his second, turning his man on the left hand side and forging into the box before shooting through the keepers legs. Striker Jake Pullinger added a sixth which was deserved after tireless running throughout the game before Dominic Robinson rounded things off with a quality finish into the bottom corner.
