CHIPPING SODBURY TOWN U18 9
FRAMPTON ON SEVERN U18 1
Frampton could not match the win they achieved in their last outing and suffered another resounding defeat when they visited Chipping Sodbury and lost 9 – 1.
It took 25 minutes before Sodbury managed to score their first goal following a well placed pass from Ryan Mundy to Charlie Davis who slotted the ball home. For the second period of the half there was action at both ends of the field. Firstly Frampton’s Cameron Blacklaws had a good shot saved by Jack Dando in the Sodbury goal and Cameron was involved again shortly after in Frampton’s only goal of the game when he passed the ball to Ben Cobb who scored the goal of the day. Ryan Mundy had a good chance to score his second goal of the day for Sodbury but his shot was well saved by Ioan Munteanu in the Frampton goal. Just before half time Sodbury scored twice with a goal apiece for Jack Derrick and Kacy Brown to go in 3-1 up at half time.
In the second half Sodbury scored a further 6 goals spaced out over the 45 minutes. Kacy Brown made sure of his hat-trick by scoring a further 3 goals, including 1 penalty. Charlie Davis also scored 2 more goals for his hat-trick and Kieran Hackers grabbed one.
