CHIPPENHAM PARK 0 CHIPPING SODBURY TOWN 1 CHIPPENHAM Park were unable to dampen Chipping Sodbury Town’s Christmas spirit last weekend as they were edged out by the festive Toolstation League First Division table-toppers. Dave Ferris’ side welcomed Chipping Sodbury to Hardenhuish Park in their final assignment before Christmas Day but couldn’t halt the South Gloucestershire side’s ascent to the league table’s summit as they recorded a fifth straight victory. Despite an avalanche of pressure, Park held firm for long spells but succumbed to just a single goal as the visitors left Wiltshire with all three points. |
