CHIPPING SODBURY U18 5 RANGEWORTHY U18 0 Chipping Sodbury moved to within 1 point of Division 2N leaders and local rivals Wickwar Wanderers following their 5 – 0 win over neighbours Rangeworthy For the quarter of the game chances were created by either end as the teams sought out their relative strengths and weaknesses. Following this period Sodbury went into top gear and found the net on 3 occasions before the half time interval. The deadlock was broken after 25 minutes when Lewis Wynn lobbed the goalkeeper from 20 yards out and this was followed shortly afterwards when Ross Womack ran onto a ball that had rebound off the Rangeworthy goalkeeper and put his shot firmly into the back of the net .Ross Womack was again on hand to score Sodbury’s 3rd goal from a corner just before half time. HT 3 - 0 In the second half Sodbury scored a further 2 goals. The first from Kane Head whose shot found the bottom corner of the net and Matt Day finished the scoring with a strike into the corner of the goal to give Sodbury a comfortable 5 – 0 victory.
